From Bartender to Travel: The Eve Veyroj Journey

Every great story begins with some form of twist, and mine started behind the bar, serving cocktails to tourists who were dreaming of adventures that I could only imagine. My name is Eve and while I have spent years bartending in Naples, Florida, there was always an itch inside me for more: to explore, to create, to connect to the world in ways I only knew through others

       Very colorful and industrious was my life before tourism called my name. Acting had called since the age of a child, and it brought me from Thailand to the USA at the tender age of 8, where I honed my craft for over a decade.

Still, the volatility of the acting world got me to steer toward a more down-to-earth profession: bartending in a posh hotel where patrons whose life stories would most often raise my very own demons.

Life has a funny way, however, of combining the personal with the professional. Over those years, I had become a bartender who listened, advised, and often acted as an unofficial tour planner both for tourists and locals. That was when I realized I could make my passion for organizing travel experiences real: a career whereby I help other people discover the world, just like I had always wanted to do

         It wasn’t a step from bartender to certified FORA travel advisor; it was more like a leap of faith. I had never worked in travel professionally, but what I did have was a lifetime of helping friends and family plan their dream trips, especially to my homeland, Thailand. The more I researched and explored, the more I knew this is where I needed to be.

I then plunged headfirst into travel blogging, always having in mind the desire to share insider tips, my love for unusual destinations, and my passion for creating unrivaled memories.

On the way, I discovered another love: content creation. Using Instagram and Pinterest, I could express the travel magic in more detail: from creating reels about hidden gems in Thailand to pinning boards full of packing hacks and cultural insights, my voice was heard not just as a travel planner but as a storyteller.

Today, I boast of saying that EvesJourneys is more than just a blog or a brand; it’s my life’s work. I place the prime focus on helping USA travelers explore Thailand from its tranquility of beaches to its bustling markets by offering insider tips, turning an ordinary vacation into a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Along with travel, the bartending business, EvesBar, keeps going, too, offering the same level of personalized care and creativity I put into everything I do.

A deep-seated craving to connect people fuels my personal and professional life, be it through a well-crafted cocktail or through a well-planned journey. I love helping others build their memories and thrive on the capability of making dreams come true.
